To use proven military methods and techniques to motivate young men and women to become successful citizens.

End Result A: ChalleNGe Program graduates receive a GED or high school diploma.

The second class of 2009 had 95% of eligible cadets earn and receive a GED or high school diploma by graduation.

End Result B: ChalleNGe Program graduates are placed at the completion of the residential phase.

In the second class of 2009, 100% of eligible cadets were placed at graduation from the residential phase.

End Result C: ChalleNGe Program graduates are placed at the completion of the post-residential phase (one year after graduation).

In 2009 to-date, 79.7% of cadets were employed or enrolled in further education at the completion of the post-residential phase (one year after graduation). This exceeds the 70% target and continues a three year trend of improvement.

End Result D: The elementary program - STARBASE - increases student performance in the areas of Science, Math and Technology.

In FY09 to date, 92% of students increased their scores from pre- to post- assessment.
