Polar Bear ESA Listing:
Governor Sean Parnell takes questions at a press conference in Anchorage October 21. The Governor and Attorney General Dan Sullivan (to the Governor’s right) announced that the state will oppose the listing of the polar bear as “threatened.” Parnell said, “Some are attempting to use the Endangered Species Act as a way to shut down resource development. I won’t let that happen on my watch.”
