Thanking John Katz:
Gov. Sarah Palin and other Alaska political leaders of the past and present gathered in Anchorage on August 20 at a luncheon banquet honoring John Katz, director of her Washington, D.C. office, on the occasion Wednesday of his being named the fourth-ever recipient of the “Walter J. Hickel Award for Distinguished Public Service” from Commonwealth North. They included (L-R) U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, Gov. Sarah Palin, Sherry Spurlock Katz, John Katz, former Gov. Wally Hickel, and federal Judge John Sedwick).
