Alaska Gas Pipeline Public Review Process Begins:
Public Encouraged to Provide Comments Online, In Writing, at Eight Public Hearings, during Statewide Teleconferences, and via a Toll-Free Number

Governor Frank H. Murkowski this week released the proposed Alaska Natural Gas Pipeline contract to the public following more than two years of negotiations between the State of Alaska and BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc.; ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. and ExxonMobil Alaska Production, Inc. for an Alaska Gas Pipeline project.

The public is invited and encouraged to comment on the project during a public review process that is scheduled to last at least 45 days.
