> Alaska Commemorative Coin Commission
The purpose of the Alaska Commemorative Coin Commission is to solicit narrative design concepts for the Alaska quarter that will be presented to the U.S. Mint, and to make recommendations regarding the final design under the 50 States Commemorative Coin Program Act.
Alaska has a Winner!
After thousands and thousands of comments, Alaskans have chosen a clear winner. "The Great Land" Alaska quarter depicts a bear emerging from a stream with a salmon. Thanks to everyone who participated.
