Under the authority of art. III, secs. 1 and 24 of the Alaska Constitution and AS 44.17.020, 4 Walter J. Hickel Governor of the State of Alaska, in the interests of economy and efficiency, and in keeping with sound administrative principles and practices, and to provide more clear direction of the state's efforts in developing human resources, local economies, and communities, order that:

The Department of Community and Regional Affairs is responsible for the administration of all Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) programs and CSBG monies received from the federal government by the state.

This order takes effect immediately.
