Under the authority of art. III, secs. 1 and 24 of the Alaska Constitution and AS 44.77.060, I, Walter J. Hickel Governor of the State of Alaska, order transfer of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, for administrative purposes only, from the Department of Natural Resources to the Department of Administration. This transfer is necessary for efficient administration and will provide for appropriate and effective performance of administrative functions.

This order takes effect immediately.
