ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 127
Under the authority of art. III, secs. 1, 16, and, 24 of the
Alaska Constitution, I, Walter J. Hickel, Governor of the State
of Alaska, order the following in the interest of efficient administration
and public participation in state government:
All departments, agencies, commissions, and boards in the
executive branch of state government shall electronically transmit
to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor the following information
to be published in the Alaska Administrative Journal (AAJ):
1. notices of professional service contracts;
2. competitive bids and concessions;
3. leases;
4. notices of proposed regulations;
5. summary of regulations formally adopted by departments,
agencies, boards and commissions;
6. delegations of authority;
7. agency meetings; and
8. public notices.
All state departments, agencies, commissions, and boards shall
forward the above information to their respective AAJ Liaisons
by Wednesday of each week. The AAJ Liaison will forward that
information to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor by 4:30
p.m. on the same Wednesday.
I further direct the Lieutenant Governor to provide to the
head of all departments, agencies, commissions and boards a description
of the information that is required by statute (AS 44.62.175)
and any additional information the Lieutenant Governor deems
necessary to fulfill his responsibilities as publisher of the
AAJ.
This order takes effect immediately.
