Under the authority of Article III, Sections 1 and 23 of the Alaska Constitution and AS 44.17.060, I, Walter J. Hickel, Governor of the State of Alaska, order transfer of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, for administrative purposes, from the Department of Commerce and Economic Development to the Department of Natural Resources. This transfer is in the interests of economy and efficiency and in accord with sound administrative principles and practices.

This order takes effect on July 1, 1991.
