Pursuant to the authority of Article III of the Alaska Constitution and AS 44.17.060, the weatherization program now located within the Department of Community and Regional Affairs is transferred to the Department of Commerce and Economic Development to be administered in conjunction with the energy conservation programs.

I find the transfer of this office and the assignment of these functions necessary for the efficient administration of state government.

This Order takes effect immediately and is retroactive to 12:01 a.m. on October 1, 1979.
