ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 39
Pursuant to the authority of Article III of the Alaska Constitution
and AS 44.17.060, the Manpower Planning Division including the
Governor's Manpower Planning Council and the State Manpower Services
Council now located within the Office of the Governor, are transferred
to the Department of Community and Regional Affairs along with
any State and federal appropriations.
The fiscal operations of the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act (CETA) which are currently administered by the Office
of the Governor are transferred to the Department of Community
and Regional Affairs. All accounts, records and other data of
whatever nature now held by that office are transferred.
All contracts executed by the Office of the Governor as Prime
Sponsor remain in effect until their respective, previously established
termination dates.
I find the transfer of this office and the assignment of these
functions to the Department of Community and Regional Affairs
necessary for the efficient administration of State government.
This Order takes effect November 1, 1976.
